Attendee Terms

Last updated: 22 August 2026

Hi, thanks for booking through Bassy Events. Before you head to your event, here's a real, honest rundown of what to expect, written the way we'd actually explain it to a friend, not the way a lawyer would.

Who runs your event
The organiser, not us, we're just the platform they used to sell your ticket
Refunds
Set by the organiser for each event, always shown before you book
Your ticket
Lives in your pass, one link, always up to date, no app needed
Your payment
Handled securely by Stripe, we never see your full card details

1 The basics

When you book a ticket through Bassy Events, you're agreeing to these terms, and to whatever specific policy the organiser has set for their own event, refunds especially. We'll always show you the organiser's policy clearly before you pay, so there's genuinely nothing hidden or buried in small print.

2 Your ticket

Once you've booked, your ticket lives in your pass, a single real link we send you by email. Open it any time to see your QR code, your booking details, and anything the organiser wants you to know. You don't need to download anything, screenshot anything, or dig through old emails, the link always shows your latest, correct ticket.

Keep this link somewhere you can actually find it again. If you ever lose it, get in touch with the organiser directly, they can resend it from their own dashboard.

3 Paying for your ticket

Your card details go straight to Stripe. We never see your full card number, and neither does the organiser.

Some events also let you pay in cash at the door instead, if the organiser has that option switched on, your spot is reserved but not confirmed until you've actually paid in person. We'll always be clear about which type of payment you're making before you book.

4 Refunds and cancellations

Every organiser sets their own real refund policy for their own event, since they know their event best. You'll always see it before you book, so you know exactly where you stand. If refunds are switched on for an event, you can request one directly from your pass, no need to hunt down an email address or fill out a form.

If an event gets cancelled entirely, you're genuinely covered, the organiser is expected to refund you, and we'll keep you updated by email as it's resolved.

5 If something changes

Sometimes plans change, an event's time shifts, or the organiser needs to move you to a different session. If that happens, we'll email you, and your pass will let you pick a new time that actually works for you, or reach out to the organiser directly if none of the options fit.

6 On the day

Bring your pass, that's genuinely it, no printing required. Just open the link on your phone and the organiser will scan your QR code at the door. If you're running late or something's come up, most organisers are genuinely understanding, reach out to them directly using the contact details on your pass.

7 What Bassy Events actually is

We're honestly just the platform, we help organisers sell tickets, manage bookings, and run their events smoothly. The event itself, what happens, when, and under what rules, is genuinely the organiser's own responsibility, not ours. If something about the actual event feels off, your first real point of contact is always the organiser, we're happy to help however we can too, but they know their event best.

8 Your information

Booking a ticket means sharing a few real details with us, your name, email, and sometimes a phone number, so the organiser can reach you and we can send your ticket. We take this genuinely seriously, see our Privacy Policy for the full, honest picture of what we collect and why.

9 Being a decent human

Genuinely, just be decent. Don't try to resell or scam your way into an event, don't use your ticket to cause trouble, and treat the organiser and other attendees the way you'd want to be treated yourself. Organisers can decline entry to anyone who doesn't hold up their end of that, same as any real, in-person event would.

10 Changes to these terms

We might update these terms occasionally as Bassy Events grows. The date at the top always shows when we last touched them, and if you keep using Bassy Events after a change, that means you're genuinely okay with the update.
